And finally, there should be no surprises to see the Brooklyn Nets at the top of the list of the best equipped teams to win a championship this year. Having Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is enough to push the Nets into the championship conversation, but after getting James Harden back in January, Brooklyn has looked like one of the most dominant teams in NBA history. 

Since acquiring James Harden, the Nets are averaging 119.5 points per game, putting them close to joining some elite company. The last team to average 120+ points per game over the course of a season was the 1984-85 Denver Nuggets led by 8x All-Star and Hall-of-Fame forward Alex English. 

Through 46 games this year, the Brooklyn Nets are averaging 119.3 points per game and are doing so without their best player in Kevin Durant. The 11x All-Star has been out since February 13th with a hamstring injury and has missed the Nets last 18 games. Over the span, Brooklyn is 15-3 and averaging nearly 116.7 points per game.

With Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving all healthy, this team could not only score well over 120 points per game, but they could challenge the 1981-82 Denver Nuggets who hold the record for Highest Average Points Per Game in a Season with 126.48 points per game.

Now, the Netsh have not only added former All-Star Blake Griffin to their roster, but they recently finalized a deal to sign LaMarcus Aldridge. After not having much depth, the Brooklyn Nets now have plenty of depth and plenty of high-level talents they can turn to for production. 

Anything but winning a title this season will be disappointing for the Nets as they are the clear-cut team to beat in this league. They have three superstar players in James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant and have a fantastic supporting cast, which is why this team is the best equipped team to win a title this season.
