Oklahoma City Thunder
Thunder Receive: C Tony Bradley, G Austin Rivers, PHI 2025 2nd Round Pick, PHI 2026 2nd Round Pick
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been gathering draft assets forever and now, after the NBA trade deadline, they are left with 17 first-round picks and 17 second-round picks through 2027. This is absolutely unheard of and nobody knows what GM Sam Presti has planned, but what we do know is that they are going to be an aggressive team over the next few seasons.
They could virtually trade for any player they want for numerous draft picks, but with them holding off on making a big move at the NBA trade deadline, their attention now turns to the NBA Draft and potential offseason moves they can make.
George Hill did not have much of a future with the Thunder and was likely to be dealt in the offseason if he was not traded at the NBA trade deadline, but the 76ers made the move to acquire the veteran guard at the expense of a young center in Tony Bradley and two second-round picks.

The two things the Thunder have been looking to get over the last few months have been young talents and draft picks and they got exactly that for George Hill. They probably got a little bit more value than they originally anticipated for him too, as they got two second-round picks instead of just one.
Seeing as they have been looking to trade some of their veteran players and they got exactly what they have been looking for, this trade was definitely a win for the Thunder as they continue to build for the future.
