4. LA Clippers

The LA Clippers have been in the market for a point guard for a while. Some within the front office have wanted to move on from Patrick Beverley and the deadline presented them with the opportunity.

While the Clippers were rumored to be a late-emerging team in the Kyle Lowry sweepstakes, he ended up remaining with the Toronto Raptors. The Clippers decided to move on Rajon Rondo, acquiring him from the Atlanta Hawks.

The Clippers are landing on this list because of the price they paid for Rondo, who is in the midst of the worst season of his career. They surrendered Lou Williams and two future second-round picks; that is more than the Philadelphia 76ers surrendered for George Hill or the Celtics traded for Evan Fournier.
