Why This Trade Would Benefit The Phoenix Suns
This is a good trade for the Phoenix Suns because they would be able to add a veteran point guard for very cheap. The Suns don’t have a dire need for the majority of their depth so they would be able to cut ties with some of their roster as well as land a very desirable trade target.
George Hill obviously isn’t lighting up the stat sheet as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder this season, but his veteran leadership and playoff experience makes him a very valuable acquisition.
Hill, this season, is averaging 11.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists but has only appeared in 12 games. He has been injured for much of the season and that is one of the concerns that comes with trading for him and should reflect in his trade value.

Hill would be a great mentor to the young Devin Booker, who has a reputation of being a bit rowdy at times. The level-headed George Hill could give Booker a great mentor as he looks to embark on a highly competitive playoff run this season.
