Along with Robin Lopez, Moritz Wagner is another frontcourt player on the Wizards that has drawn some interest in trade talks. No deals have been proposed for him, but some teams around the league have reached out to the Wizards about the possibility of trading for Wagner and what his value is currently.

Now in his third NBA season, the former first-round pick has played a minimal role with the Wizards over the years as a backup frontcourt option, but with him being 23-years-old and in the final year of his contract, he is definitely a name to watch tomorrow.

Wagner plays hard and is a threat to knock down a shot from virtually anywhere on the offensive-end of the court, which is why he could have value to some teams searching for young frontcourt players.

The Lakers were first originally reported to be interested in a reunion with Wagner, as they traded him to the Wizards in 2019 to make room for Anthony Davis, but nothing really developed in talks between Los Angeles and Washington.

It seems likely that the Wizards will hold off on making any big moves at the trade deadline this year, but they are definitely a team to watch the rest of the season. Depending on how things play out, they could end up being big spenders or big sellers in the offseason moving forward.
