Why This Trade Would Benefit The Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers do not need to make any more deals at the NBA trade deadline if they want to win a championship. If their full lineup is healthy, they are arguably the best team in the league. It could never hurt to get in more depth coming off the bench, especially if they are a threat from beyond the arc.

The Lakers need to add some three-point prowess and this is why they have been linked to players such as JJ Redick or Otto Porter Jr. This deal would send them another Bull in Temple. He has the ability to light it up from deep and create his own shot in the mid-range.

Garrett Temple would be a short-term option because he has just one year on his deal. The Lakers would have options on what to do with temple at the end of the season. This is something that should seriously intrigue the front office.

The health of Anthony Davis and LeBron James are the most important thing to this team. It will be interesting to see if the front office continues as aggressive nature that they showed in the offseason.
