Wayne Ellington – Detroit Pistons
Three-point shooting is at the forefront of what the Jazz do best on offensive, which is why Wayne Ellington would be a great trade target for them. The veteran wing is on a minimum deal with the Pistons this year and recent trade rumors say the Pistons have looked into potentially moving him.
Wayne Ellington has been a really solid role player for the Detroit Pistons this season and is currently averaging 10.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and shooting 42.2% from three-point range. The Jazz currently rank 3rd in the league in three-point shooting and adding the 12-year veteran would be yet another upgrade for their offense.
This season, the Utah Jazz have been a really successful team because they have so much depth on their roster. They play as many as 9 guys deep every game and sometimes play 10-11 guys deep in their rotation. Adding Ellington not only gives them another reliable bench option, but somebody who can pull his weight on a championship caliber team.
