3 last-minute trade targets for Bulls before the deadline

While they have been known to be near the bottom of the NBA standings over the years, the Chicago Bulls currently find themselves very much in the playoff conversation this year thanks in large part to Zach LaVine.

The first-time All-Star has continued to become one of the better offensive players in the entire league and is currently averaging 28.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and is shooting 43.7% from three-point range. While the Bulls have a bunch of young talents contributing, Zach LaVine has single-handedly led the Bulls to a 19-23 record to this point in the season.

With the NBA trade deadline being this week, nobody really knows what to expect from the Chicago Bulls and nobody knows whether or not they will be “buyers” or “sellers.” One thing we do know though is that Zach LaVine needs some more help if this team is going to lock-in their spot to the playoffs this year.

The top of the Eastern Conference seems to be pretty locked up between the 76ers, Nets and Bucks, but the bottom of the East is wide-open and there are seven teams all within 2-3 games of each other. The Bulls can definitely make the playoffs this year, but they are going to need to look to add more talent before the NBA trade deadline this Thursday.

With that said, let’s take a look at the latest trade rumors coming out of Chicago and three last-minute trade targets for the Bulls to potentially make a push for at the NBA trade deadline this year.
