The Indiana Pacers are in a place they are not used to being. Could they be sellers at the NBA Trade Deadline? Aaron Holiday could be a name to keep a close eye on.

Indiana currently holds the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference, tied with the Chicago Bulls with a record of 19-23. That is not where they expected to be at this point in the season, and could look to shake things up.

There are reports that they are listening to trade offers for point guard Malcolm Brogdon, as they are confident that Caris LeVert can hold things down at point guard. They are also monitoring two-time All-Star Domantas Sabonis. Center Myles Turner is also a popular name among other teams, as he was almost traded to the Boston Celtics and the Charlotte Hornets have a strong interest in him.

Trading any of those three players would represent the team throwing in the towel on this season and a waving of the white flag, something the Pacers don’t do. So, a smaller trade could be on the horizon for Indiana, with ESPN’s Zach Lowe reporting it could be Aaron Holiday on the move.

With LeVert back in the lineup, the Pacers’ 2018 first-round pick has fallen out of the rotation. Rival teams have begun inquiring about him and he could be on the move this week. Teams are intrigued by his physical prowess and toughness. He could just need a change of scenery to get his career on track.

Lowe reports that had the Pacers moved Holiday last year, they could have fetched a first-round pick in exchange for him. Now, he would bet against that occurring and believes if they move on from him, it means they will try and re-sign T.J. McConnell this offseason.

Holiday has appeared in 41 games this season, with six starts, averaging 18 minutes per game. He averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.2 rebounds in his limited playing time.
