Otto Porter Jr. – Chicago Bulls
While he has only played in 24 games this year and has missed a ton of time over the years due to numerous injuries, Otto Porter Jr. remains a hot name around the league not only in trade talks, but in potential buyout talks as well.
The 27-year-old forward is now in his 8th season in the league and in his limited time with the Bulls this year, he is averaging 10.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and is shooting 40.9% from three-point range.
While he is not viewed as a high-level player on the wing, you know what you are getting with a guy like Otto Porter Jr. should he be healthy. Trading for him would be very difficult for the Suns to do, especially with him being owed $28.4M this season, which is why he is a prime candidate for them to sign should he be bought out by the Bulls.
While they do have a ton of talent on the wing in Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder, you can never have too much talent on the wing in today’s league, which is why getting Otto Porter Jr. at a minimal deal would go a long way in the Suns’ potential championship efforts.

While he has had a hard time staying healthy through the years, Otto Porter Jr. is still only 27-years-old and has plenty of basketball left in him. He is not going to join a team and immediately become one of their best scoring options, but he can easily be one of their better scoring options off of the bench and definitely give a boost to any team’s second-unit.
Otto Porter Jr. is definitely a name to watch ahead of the trade deadline, as the Bulls look to trade to veteran forward, but also past the deadline in the event that he is bought out of his contract.
