Injuries have defined the Indiana Pacers to this point in the NBA season, much like it has the last few seasons. After just four games into the year, breakout star T.J. Warren suffered a foot injury that required surgery and he has been out since. Caris LeVert, who the Pacers acquired in January, has also been out and just returned to the court this past week.
Other key role players for the Pacers have also missed time here and there this season, which has caused this team to struggle at times and as a result, they are currently 19-23 and on the outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture looking in.
Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon have carried the load for Indiana this year and they have been great, but if this team is going to make a late playoff push, especially without T.J. Warren, then they are going to have to make a move at the NBA trade deadline.
