The Charlotte Hornets could be open to trading point guard Devonte Graham ahead of the NBA trade deadline. He has been mentioned in quite a few rumors, but now two teams appear to be coming forward as potential landing spots. Those two teams are the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks.

According to a report from Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Pacers and Knicks are teams to monitor when it comes to Graham’s trade market.

“Hornets chief executive Mitch Kupchak is not known to swing many midseason deals, but the Indiana Pacers are a team to watch in this situation, sources said, as are the active Knicks.”

Graham would provide great scoring and dangerous three-point shooting for whoever acquires him. However, the likelihood of him being moved will likely be impacted by the season-ending wrist injury that LaMelo Ball suffered.

If the Hornets are still open to trading him, both the Pacers and Knicks would make a lot of sense.

So far this season with the Hornets, Devonte Graham has averaged 13.2 points per game to go along with 5.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds. He has shot 36 percent from the floor and 36.3 percent from the three-point line.

For the Pacers, acquiring Graham would give them a scoring punch off the bench. He would take over the role that Aaron Holiday and Edmond Sumner struggle to fill on a consistent basis. Graham’s ability to shoot the three would be ver valuable.

On the other hand, the Knicks would likely be acquiring Graham to be a starter. They need a long-term option at point guard and Graham could fill that void.

Expect to hear quite a few more rumors with the trade deadline coming up quickly. The Pacers and Knicks could be active in trade discussions with the Hornets.
