George Hill – Oklahoma City Thunder
While he is owed $9.6M this season and is guaranteed $1.3M of his $10M for next season, George Hill has drawn plenty of interest around the league because of his playoff experience and his ability to be a fantastic role player in the second-unit. He has not played much this year with the Thunder due to a thumb injury, but Oklahoma City is willing to deal him for a future draft pick and possibly a young talent.
All-in-all, Hill is available ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline and the Philadelphia 76ers should be very interested. Not only is he a great three-point shooting threat, as he led the league in three-point shooting percentage last year (46.0 3P%), but he is a fantastic distributor and floor general.
George Hill is now in his 13th year in the league and with him having both playoff and NBA Finals experience, he could be the best fit at a small asking price for the Philadelphia 76ers. Outside of Ben Simmons, the 76ers do not really have another point guard on their roster.

Shake Milton and Seth Curry can be primary ball-handlers and distributors, but they are much better playing off-the-ball and scoring off-the-ball. Bringing in George Hill gives the 76ers another reliable ball-handler and someone who can make everyone better around him.
If the 76ers are not able to get Kyle Lowry at the trade deadline, George Hill is probably their next best option in terms of landing another point guard. He has the experience and the skill to be a high-impact player in this Sixers rotation and could be a key player for them in the second-unit as they look to get to the NBA Finals.
