Kyle Lowry – Toronto Raptors

Not only have Kyle Lowry trade rumors been going around for months now, but the 76ers still have not seemed to stop their pursuit of the 6x All-Star. Toronto has shot down all trade rumors pertaining to the veteran guard, as has Kyle Lowry himself, but the 76ers still have him at the top of their list of trade targets in the league and are trying to do what it takes to bring him home to Philadelphia.

Kyle Lowry is in the final year of his contract and is owed $30M this season, which makes things complicated in terms of trading him, but the 76ers could actually make a trade for him work financially while also keeping Simmons, Embiid and Harris.

The biggest question that surrounds Lowry and his future is if the Toronto Raptors are willing to trade him. This organization just won a championship not too long ago with Lowry at the forefront of things, so it may seem like a stretch to think they will be shopping him around to see what they can get for him.

Toronto is currently on the outside of the playoff picture in the East and will have to fight for a playoff spot this year, which is one of the main reasons why they may look to hold onto Lowry instead of dealing him.

For Philly though, getting Kyle Lowry would be a dream come true and would definitely make them the team to beat in the entire league. With Lowry, Simmons, Harris and Embiid all healthy and on the court, the Sixers would have plenty of firepower offensively and they would also be one of the better, more active defensive teams in the league.

The only problem with trading for Lowry though is that Philly would be left with minimal players to turn to in their second-unit. Danny Green, Seth Curry and Mike Scott would all likely have to be dealt in order to acquire Lowry, which would leave the 76ers with not many reliable options to turn to off-the-bench.

If Kyle Lowry is going to be traded at the deadline, I fully expect him to go to the 76ers. The Miami Heat are also really interested in Lowry, but if they are not willing to part ways with young talents like Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn, then they will not be able to persuade the Raptors to trade their beloved leader.
