The Los Angeles Clippers came into the NBA season with a need at the point guard position. This was glaring since the postseason but they did a little in the offseason to improve the unit. As we enter the second here for the season and moved or the trade deadline, the Clippers could realize that they need an upgrade.
Los Angeles has once again one of the best teams in the league. They are currently second in the Western Conference and expect to make a championship run. The conference is extremely difficult and the Clippers could looked at a point guard to team with Kawhi Leonard an Paul George.
Both stars are having incredible seasons and it has translated to team success. The point guard position has turned into one of the most important on the floor and this is where the Clippers lack productivity.
If there is one team to look for if you need some help in the back court, it is the Charlotte Hornets. They used the third-overall pick in the draft on LaMelo Ball and he is quickly turning into a star. Since entering the starting lineup, Ball has taken that step and showing that he can produce on a nightly basis.

Ball joined Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham in a loaded backcourt. Charlotte also signed Gordon Hayward to a contract in free agency. This is a team that has plenty of options if they want to make a move at the deadline.
