While the Los Angeles Lakers are still one of the top teams in the NBA, the last few weeks have been tough for them. Not only has Anthony Davis been out with a calf injury, but L.A. has been missing some key role players in Alex Caruso, Marc Gasol and even Dennis Schroder missed some games due to health and safety protocols.
This team had a tough time at first without their superstar big man, but the Lakers are starting to figure things out with LeBron James continuing to elevate his play. He became the oldest player in NBA history to record back-to-back triple-doubles and has continued to show why he is still one of the most dominant players in the league.
They have had their struggles as of late, but with this team starting to play much better overall and Anthony Davis on the mend, it should not come as a surprise to anybody to see the Los Angeles Lakers once again be one of the top teams in the league heading into the playoffs. This does not mean though that they will not look to make some moves to improve their overall roster at the NBA trade deadline.

Let’s take a look at a potential trade that would send Dennis Schroder to the Orlando Magic in exchange for some much needed bench depth for the Lakers.
