The Phoenix Suns have arrived in the Western Conference. They are currently second in the standings at 26-12 and looking like the real deal. This is a team that made a big move in the offseason in hopes of competing and could look to make another at the NBA trade deadline. The Orlando Magic could be the perfect trade partner to look for.
Orlando has completely fallen apart this season. They are 13-26 and it is because players have struggled to stay on the floor. Aaron Gordon has been limited to 20 games while Evan Fournier has played 21. Nikola Vucevic has played in and started all 39 games.
He continues to show that he is elite averaging 25 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. It was assumed that Vucevic would be the player to build around but he could be their biggest trade piece as we approach the NBA trade deadline.
The Suns are a contending team that could be interested in Vucevic. They already made a big splash in the offseason when they added Chris Paul in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. It has paid off right away as Paul is averaging 15.9 points and 8.8 assists per game. He is the superstar that the team needed to pair with Devin Booker.

Booker is already one of the best scorers in the game and that is continuing this season. He is scoring 25.1 points per game this season to lead Phoenix. The Suns are seeing that they are legitimate and this could cause them to be aggressive at the NBA trade deadline.
Vucevic would fit in well with the Suns. Here is a potential deal that would get him to Phoenix for the second half of the season.
