Why This Trade Would Benefit The Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers has a roster that is put together in a very interesting way. Collin Sexton and Darius Garland are young options that the team added in the draft. They are backcourt pieces that have been viewed as the future. In the frontcourt, Drummond and Kevin Love could very well be trade at anytime. It would be interesting to see the Cavaliers go in a different direction and send Sexton away.
The only logical explanation would be if the Cavaliers felt they needed to land the biggest return. This would put the future in the hands of Lonzo Ball, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Isaac Okoro. Ball and Hart are starting-caliber players that have plenty of experience playing valuable minutes.
They would be able to come in right away and contribute to the team. A total of three first-round picks in a deal is difficult to turn down and something that would certainly benefit the Cavaliers moving forward.
