When looking at a trade, there is usually a centerpiece player or a team looking to improve over the other. In this deal that we have drawn up, the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors are both looking to make adjustments at the NBA trade deadline. It is one instance where both sides have a chance to get better.
Golden State could be looking for more perimeter help to put with Steph Curry on the outside. They are right in the midst of a playoff race which is going to continue over the second half of the season.
Steph Curry and the Warriors are doing this without Klay Thompson which means they could be looking for another three-point threat. This is how the team has one in the past and it is something that they want to continue moving forward.
For the Bulls, they are looking to compete in a week Eastern Conference. Given the current state of the teams near the bottom, Chicago is technically alive in the second half of the season. This means the team could be looking to make a move as soon as possible.
