This Heat-Rockets trade lands Victor Oladipo in Miami

While the Heat started off the NBA season very lackluster and their performances were quite disappointing, it looks like the Miami Heat of last year have finally returned. The Heat have won 13 of their last 17 games and have skyrocketed up the standings in the Eastern Conference all the way to the 4-seed.

The turnaround this team has made is very impressive and they have been led by Jimmy Butler the whole way. With him being fully healthy, Miami has continued to play better basketball, but they still could look to make a big move at the trade deadline.

Even if they are at full strength, this Miami Heat team seems like they are missing something this year. They basically return their entire team from a year ago, minus Jae Crowder and Derrick Jones Jr, but outside of Butler and Adebayo, this team has struggled at times to find production.

Adding that third All-Star like talent has been a goal of this front-office for the last few months and while they have not made a move yet, Victor Oladipo has been a player they have been targeting ever since the beginning of the year. While he did suffer a major leg injury in 2019, Oladipo looks like he is back to being his old self with no visible limitations.

As a result, he could be exactly the type of player the Heat need to repeat as Easetrn Conference Champions and potentially make it back to the NBA Finals to have another shot at winning a title. With that said, let’s take a look at a potential trade that would send Victor Oladipo to South Beach.
