The Boston Celtics are expected to be very active at the NBA trade deadline and they could be in the mix to land a veteran guard in OKC Thunder’s George Hill to add some depth to their roster.
The Celtics are aiming to land a top three seed in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, and they could be looking to add some talent to help them do that. The rest of the competition will need to work to keep up with the Brooklyn Nets’ superteam and Boston is no exception.
The OKC Thunder, on the flip side, are nowhere near playoff contention this year and could be looking to deal away some of their older stars. The Thunder aren’t projected to be too active at the NBA trade deadline, but George Hill could be a highly sought after player.

George Hill is certainly up there in terms of years in the league, but he could add valuable experience to a playoff team at the trade deadline. Hill, this season, has averaged 11.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for the Thunder.
George Hill may not be an elite talent, but he could certainly help a needy team. The Thunder and Celtics could look to engage in a trade at the deadline this year and it could look something like this.
