Golden State Warriors
Without Klay Thompson for the second-consecutive season, the Golden State Warriors are exactly what everyone expected them to be — unpredictable! Steph Curry has been quietly putting together one of his best seasons of his career and with other key talents in Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr. and rookie James Wiseman, this team could definitely make the playoffs this season and their front-office fully expects them to contend in the playoffs this year.
Warriors’ GM was on 95.7 The Game the other day and spoke about their plan heading into the trade deadline stating, “We’ll be aggressive,” and “We’ll look around.” After being very active at the trade deadline last season, acquiring Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors find themselves a part of numerous trade rumors once again.
One player Golden State has a lot of interest in is Rockets’ combo-guard Victor Oladipo. After just being traded to the Rockets in January, Oladipo could be on the move once again as Houston continues to struggle and finds themselves with one of the worst records in the league.
While the Warriors have a ton of interest in the former All-Star guard, he is in the final year of his contract and is owed $21M this season, meaning the Warriors would have to trade either Kelly Oubre Jr. or Andrew Wiggins and possibly another role player in order to acquire Victor Oladipo.

Surely, this would be a huge statement move by Golden State in their efforts to make a real playoff push this season without Klay Thompson, but they could still look at other names that become available in the coming weeks.
The Warriors are $63.6M over the salary cap, making things difficult in terms of adding more talent to this roster, but this has never stopped this organization before and if Bob Myers says they are going to be aggressive at the trade deadline, expect this team to make at least one significant move this season.
