This Grizzlies-Pistons trade features Jerami Grant to Memphis

The Detroit Pistons are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with no turn around in sight. This means the team could be complete sellers at the NBA trade deadline with Jeremi Grant being at the top of the list. There will be many teams interested in Grant is on the market but the Memphis Grizzlies could come out above the rest.

Memphis is looking to take that next step in the Western Conference. They missed out on the postseason by just one game a year ago and were hoping to take the franchise to that level this year. They are currently playing average ball in a very difficult conference and can’t look for a deal to improve the lineup.

Ja Morant is looking like a superstar in the league and one that is going to be around for a long time. Now it is all about putting the right pieces around him. Jerami Grant could be that piece. He signed a three-year deal with the Pistons in the offseason and is having his best statistical year of his career. The Pistons have already sent away veteran names like Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin.
