Josh Hart – New Orleans Pelicans
While the Pelicans have made their intentions to keep Josh Hart clear, the Pacers could really benefit from adding the versatile forward. Much like Thaddeus Young, Hart does a little bit of everything for his team and can aid the Pacers in numerous ways.
Through 36 games this season, Josh Hart is averaging 9.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and is shooting 44.7% from the floor, 33.3% from three-point range. Not only is he a really impressive rebounder for a 6’5” wing, but Hart could really aid the Pacers in rebounding since they currently rank 29th in the league.
The best part about trading for Josh Hart though is that he is only owed $3.4M this season and is in the final year of his rookie contract. He could be a player the Pacers look to keep long-term after this season and they would not have to give up too much in contract value to acquire him.

With New Orleans not wanting to trade him though, they may have to give up a fair amount of future value if they were to target him at the NBA trade deadline. Overall though, if Josh Hart is a player that is available, the Indiana Pacers should absolutely target him since he can do a little bit of everything for them.
Caris LeVert and T.J. Warren could return by the end of the March, but it is seeming more and more likely that they will be back sometime in April. With this being the case, the Pacers need all the help they can get right now, which is why Josh Hart could be a highly-impactful trade target for them.
