Harrison Barnes has quickly emerged as one of the most interesting names on the NBA trading block. He has completely rejuvenated his career on the offensive side of the ball and the Kings could look to take advantage of his value. Barnes would benefit a win now team and the Los Angeles Lakers certainly fit the bill.

The Lakers have been linked to many big-name players as we approach the trade deadline. They have shown an interest in continuing to improve their lineup. This is something they did in the offseason when they brought Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell to town.

The Lakers are once again near the top of the Western Conference and have a chance to win their second-straight championship.

As for the Kings, they could be heading toward a rebuild. We have seen their names in NBA trade rumors since the offseason because of Buddy Hield. It was likely that if a deal got done, Hield would be involved but we could see Barnes as the first one traded.
