Why This Trade Would Benefit The Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards have quickly turned into one of the biggest dumpster fires in the NBA. This begins from the front office and continues on down to the court. The move to acquire Russell Westbrook was a nice thought at the time but it has not translated into success.
This could force Washington to be big time sellers and there are no bigger pieces right now than Bradley Beal. John Wall being traded was the first indication that the Wizards are heading towards a complete rebuild from the bottom up. Bradley Beal would be the next man sent away. Despite his loyalty, it would benefit the Wizards because of the return he would undoubtably bring.
Jonas Valanciunas is and underrated big man who can dominate down low while being an intriguing sharpshooter. At the end of the day, the Wizards need to create a new identity and begin from the bottom up.

It is going to be quite some time until Washington turns into a contender again. That is obvious and is why the franchise should move towards sending away Beal if they can get a large return.
