Why This Trade Would Make Sense For The Sacramento Kings
This is a good trade for the Sacramento Kings because they would be able to get a tremendous return value for their young center Marvin Bagley III. The Sacramento Kings, if they make this trade, could seriously compete for a playoff spot this season.
The Kings have a very young and talented team that would only get better with the additions of Darius Bazley, Mike Muscala, and Justin Jackson. The main attraction of this deal is the ability to add some draft assets in order to help build around De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton.
The long-term answer at the center position is clearly Richaun Holmes for the Kings, assuming they can retain him in free agency during the offseason. Meanwhile, Bagley III isn’t suited to play the four spot for a successful team.
