Andre Drummond Gets Traded To The Chicago Bulls
Headlining the trade rumor mill for several weeks, Andre Drummond’s Cleveland Cavaliers experiment has been short-lived.
The Cavs participated in one of the biggest trades of the year back in January, that subsequently shipped James Harden to the Nets. Though the deal wasn’t as pivotal in Cleveland, they still found themselves in a fascinating debacle with their frontcourt – Drummond, Jarrett Allen, JaVale McGee, Larry Nance Jr. and Kevin Love. Clearly, not many victories will be had with a crowded big man rotation in a shooter’s league.
Even so, the Cavs and Drummond were already heading towards a break-up. The team announced last month that Drummond wouldn’t be back on the court until they found a trade partner.
