Kevin Love – Cleveland Cavaliers
It would be very hard for the Miami Heat to work around some of their contracts to acquire Kevin Love, but he remains one of the better under-the-radar trade targets for the Miami Heat with the trade deadline just weeks away.
Kevin Love is owed $91.4M through the 2022-23 season, which is a huge contract for the Miami Heat to take on, but trading for Love definitely has its perks. Not only has he been a very solid rebounder over the course of his 13-year NBA career, but Kevin Love has shot 37% from three-point range over the course of his career.
He is a much better frontcourt option than Kelly Olynyk and can do more on the court than Olynyk, which is why replacing him would be a huge improvement for the Miami Heat. If they were able to trade away both Kelly Olynyk and Andre Iguodala, then the Heat could potentially be able to land Kevin Love, but the question remains if the Cavaliers would be willing to take on the contracts of either of these two guys.
Cleveland needs draft picks and young talents, which is one of the main reasons why acquiring Love could be a difficult task for the Heat. However, if he can remain healthy, Kevin Love could be the perfect frontcourt option for Miami to target in order to make another deep postseason run.

He knows what it takes to win a championship and could still be a real double-double threat for the Heat from the power-forward position, giving them a very strong frontcourt duo with Love and Adebayo.
If the Heat could get Kevin Love at the expense of Andre Iguodala and Kelly Olynyk, they should definitely pursue this trade but if they have to give up a young talent like Kendrick Nunn and a future first-round pick, they may be better off looking for another high-level frontcourt option somewhere else.
