JJ Redick – New Orleans Pelicans
Much like how Wayne Ellington could impact the Clippers with his perimeter shooting, JJ Redick can also aid the Clippers in this area and has been known to be a pretty good shooter. The veteran sharpshooter currently ranks 14th on the All-Time Three-Pointers Made list and will soon be surpassed by Damian Lillard, who trails him by 13 made three-pointers, but that does not take away from the career Redick has had.
The 15-year veteran shooting guard has always been one of the deadliest three-point shooters in the league over the course of his career and while he started off cold this year in New Orleans, JJ Redick is currently shooting 36.4% from deep this year and can definitely be an impactful trade target for any team.
Not to mention, JJ Redick played with the Clippers from 2014-2017 and had some of the best years of his career in Los Angeles. Ending his career in a place where he can contend for a championship is definitely something Redick would like and re-joining the Clippers organization could be a dream come true.

While he is owed $13M this season, JJ Redick is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, meaning the Clippers would not be tied down to the 36-year old guard long-term. It would almost be like the Clippers “renting” Redick for their playoff run, which could prove to be extremely beneficial.
You can never have too many perimeter threats on your team in today’s NBA, which is why JJ Redick is the best under-the-radar trade target for the Los Angeles Clippers to consider at this year’s trade deadline.
