Dallas Mavericks Receive: Evan Fournier

Orlando Magic Receive: Josh Richardson, Trey Burke, 2021 2nd Round Pick, 2022 2nd Round Pick

Evan Fournier would be the big piece going to the Dallas Mavericks to team up with Luka Doncic in the backcourt. He would give the Mavs another offensive weapon in hopes of helping the team to have enough firepower to undergo a deep playoff run.

Fournier would not be extremely expensive given the fact that this is the last year on his contract. It may not make sense for the Magic to re-sign him to a substantial long-term deal if they can get ahead of the issue by landing a cheaper and suitable replacement.

The Magic could be looking to dump him if they think he is going to leave it for agency. In return, Josh Richardson and Trey Burke would go to Orlando along with two second-round picks for the future.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this deal would benefit both sides will be fine.
