Why This Trade Would Benefit The Sacramento Kings
The Kings are another team that will not do much winning this season but they are in a better position than the Wizards. De’Aaron Fox has emerged as an all-star caliber player and is looking like a franchise piece for the future. Bertans would bring a new dynamic to the offense for Sacramento and this is something they could be interested in.
Marvin Bagley III has been a bit of a flop considering what the Kings were expecting. He was selected over Luka Doncic, who has already earned an All-NBA First-Team nod. At this point, he could be used as a trade piece because his days in Sacramento are numbered.
Davis Bertans would give the Kings and intriguing pick-and-roll man to work with Fox out on the perimeter. They would also land a first-round pick this year, which is enough to persuade the team to make a deal.

Sacramento is just trying to get back to relevance in the Western Conference. This is not going to be easy considering the team to the top have dominated and that is not going to end anytime soon. Building around Fox is the long-term plan, then the front office needs to make the right decisions and hit on them right away.
