Davis Bertans has started just three games this year after signing that $80 million contract in the offseason. He has an intriguing skill set that would fit a lot of teams because of his size and ability to shoot the ball from three-point range.
In return, Washington would get Marvin Bagley III, who is on a much cheaper deal and would not require much if an extension to sign. This is a good move for a Washington and one that could help them clear space right away.
