Why This Trade Would Benefit The Minnesota Timberwolves
The Timberwolves have had trouble building a winner in the West. The front office has become a disaster and it is showing on the court. This could lead to some big moves as we approach the NBA trade deadline. This could be the year that Minnesota decides to blow it up a bit.
This is what would happen if Karl-Anthony Towns was sent away. The Timberwolves have made the postseason just once since drafting Towns with the first-overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. There were NBA trade rumors of Towns being unhappy in the offseason but nothing has happened yet.
James Wiseman would be an immediate replacement and give the Timberwolves the top two picks from this year’s draft. Draymond Green is a winning player who has been a huge piece of the Warriors during their championship years. He is a coach on the floor and someone who could change the culture.

Minnesota is a team that needs to make a few moves if they want to return to relevance. This is probably the biggest one they could make and it could happen sooner than later.
