Dallas Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks Receive: F/C Myles Turner, G Jeremy Lamb, F Doug McDermott, UTA 2021 2nd Round Pick (via IND), MIL 2021 2nd Round Pick (via IND)
Indiana Pacers Receive: F/C Kristaps Porzingis, F Dorian Finney-Smith, G Jalen Brunson, DAL 2024 1st Round Pick (Lottery-Protected)
Out of any trade scenario the Pacers could be involved in with Myles Turner, this is definitely the most complicated, but definitely most intriguing. Swapping Turner for Kristaps Porzingis from the Dallas Mavericks certainly brings a lot of value to the Pacers and they could also get a lot of value out of Finney-Smith and Brunson as well.
Losing Jeremy Lamb and Doug McDermott to the Mavericks in this scenario would hurt the Pacers depth on the wing, but when LeVert and Warren are healthy again, Indiana will be fine in terms of production on the wing since they would have Finney-Smith and still have Justin Holiday as well.
Now in his third season in the league, Jalen Brunson has been a fantastic secondary guard for the Mavericks and is in the midst of a career-year. The 24-year old guard is averaging 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and is shooting 41.9% from three-point range. Having another reliable scoring threat in the backcourt could do wonders for the Pacers and make their second-unit even better than it already is.
While they would be giving up Myles Turner, some key rotational players and two second-round picks in 2021, the Pacers would be getting Kristaps Porzingis from the Mavericks, who was an All-Star talent not too long ago. He is not as great of a defensive player as Turner, but is more than capable of blocking numerous shots per game and is a better overall offensive talent than Turner.

This trade scenario with the Mavericks could not only make the Pacers better offensively this year, but moving forward, give them a ton of weapons in their starting rotation. At full strength, they could have Brogdon, LeVert, Warren, Sabonis and Porzingis in their starting rotation, giving them a lethal roster and a definite championship contending team.
Any move the Pacers make before the NBA trade deadline definitely hinders on when they expect T.J. Warren and Caris LeVert back, but in the end, this trade compensates for winning now and in the future. The Pacers remain a playoff threat by acquiring Porzingis from the Mavericks and down the road, can be a true championship contender with him instead of Turner.
