Kyle Lowry is one of the best players in the history of the Toronto Raptors. He has given them many good years and was a part of the their championship winning team two years ago. All good things must come to an end and his tenure in Toronto could be up soon. Rumors have began swirling about the Raptors gaining interest on their point guard and the Chicago Bulls could be a potential landing spot.
In the offseason, Toronto made it a priority to re-sign Fred VanVleet. They were able to get a deal done and it seems like he is the new centerpiece of the team, along with Pascal Siakam. Toronto is beginning to play better after a slow start to the season brought upon by some key losses.
Both Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol left in free agency. This would not necessarily be a move that would point Toronto in the direction of competing, but it would complete a goal if they want to move Lowry.
Chicago would be an interesting destination for the veteran. They have some big-name players that have been featured in trade rumors such as Zach LaVine and Lauri Markannen. Because of Lowry’s current contract situation, he would not be expensive. The Bulls would be able to hold onto their stars while adding another at the top of the offense.
Kyle Lowry has been linked to many names and Chicago is the latest one. Here is what a potential deal between the two sides could look like at the deadline.
