Sacramento Kings
Going back to the whole narrative of “what do they have to lose,” the Sacramento Kings fit this scenario perfectly. Seriously, what do the Kings have to lose? They have not been to the playoffs since 2006, the longest active drought in the NBA, they are a fairly young team and they have virtually no wing depth.
Kevin Knox could not only join the Kings and immediately earn playing time, but they could honestly be the best destination for him! De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton and Harrison Barnes are the focal points of this team and Knox would not have a ton of pressure on him to come in and produce.
He could slowly work his way into the rotation and become a 20-25 minutes per game bench player for the Kings who could be groomed to become Harrison Barnes’ successor on the wing. Knox has the body build and the potential to grow into a very solid contributor for any team in this league, but needs the opportunities to grow and prove himself.

Sacramento is one of the only places in the league that has plenty of minutes up for grabs, simply because their bench is terrible and they have openings for players who can contribute immediately.
Instead of failing to make the playoffs again and looking to draft a wing that can contribute in the future, why not just go for Kevin Knox now and try to make the most out of him if you are the Kings? You have seen him play, you know what he can do and he can still grow into a solid contributor, so it would make a lot of sense for the Kings to pull off a trade for Kevin Knox.
