Orlando Magic

On paper, the Orlando Magic do not have that bad of a roster, but this team has been hit hard with injuries this year. Jonathan Isaac has been out since the NBA Bubble with a torn ACL and will miss the entire season, Markelle Fultz tore his ACL at the beginning of the year, Aaron Gordon is dealing with a severe ankle sprain and rookie guard Cole Anthony has a rib fracture and is out until sometime after the All-Star game.

All of these injuries have left the Magic very depleted, but Nikola Vucevic has been fantastic for them this year. The former All-Star center should be making it back to the All-Star game this year and very deservingly so.

Vucevic is currently averaging 24.5 points, 11.7 rebounds and is shooting 41.6% from three-point range. With him playing at a high level and with both Terrence Ross and Evan Fournier playing at high-levels, the Magic actually have a shot to continue winning some games and possibly sneak into the playoffs.

Whether or not they make the playoffs this year, the Magic still need to be concerned with building a young, sustainable core for the future, which is why Kevin Knox could be an interesting player for them to target.

This Magic team does not have much depth on the wing and are searching for answers on where to find young talents, so why not give Kevin Knox a shot? They could easily trade a role player and a second-round pick to get him, which could make a lot of sense for Orlando.

This organization needs some answers in terms of how to build their team moving forward and while he has not performed well in New York, Kevin Knox could really benefit from going to a new team where not a lot of pressure would be put on him. In Orlando, he could just be himself and could actually turn into a really solid contributor.
