With a 18-17 record, the New York Knicks currently find themselves in 4th place in the Eastern Conference and very much in the playoff pictures. For an organization that has not made the playoffs since the 2012-2013 NBA season, this is a really big deal for the Knicks and could be the start of something great in New York. 

Julius Randle has elevated his play to a new level this year, looking like an All-Star big man and second-year guard R.J. Barrett has continued to grow as an all-around playmaker. With these two as the focal points of this organization, the Knicks have a really strong chance at being a playoff team this year, but they could look to make some moves near the NBA trade deadline. 

It has been noted in NBA trade rumors over the weeks that the Knicks would be interested in moving Kevin Knox for the right price and there is a strong possibility that there are some teams who would be willing to invest in the young wing.

Knox is just 21-years old and had a lot of potential coming into the league to be a solid two-way wing, but he has never really been given opportunities to prove himself in New York. It seems like they have always favored veteran talent on the wing over him, which has caused Knox to slip in the depth chart and see merely 16 minutes per game this year.
