2 Rockets players the Warriors could potentially trade for

The Golden State Warriors were hoping to get back into NBA Finals contention this season, but the season-ending Achilles injury suffered by Klay Thompson set them back in a big way. Despite not having Thompson, the Warriors are still a competitive basketball team. They could look to make a trade ahead of the NBA trade deadline to boost their playoff chances and the Houston Rockets are a team they could target.

Houston has been very active this season. They have already traded superstar James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets and are reportedly open for business on players like Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker, and Victor Oladipo.

Should the Warriors choose to try and make a big move, the Rockets would be a good team to start with. Golden State isn’t going to try to swing a superstar trade unless a guy like Kristaps Porzingis could be acquired. Instead, they could look to add good role players to their roster.

Stephen Curry is still one of the top superstars in the game. Draymond Green has played a big role and the supporting cast players like Kelly Oubre Jr., James Wiseman, and Eric Paschall have all been solid. This team could be tough to beat in a seven-game series for whoever they face.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at two players the Warriors should target in trade talks with the Rockets.
