Miami Heat Receive: F Thaddeus Young, G Garrett Temple
Chicago Bulls Receive: G Goran Dragic, MIA 2022 1st Round Pick (Lottery-Protected)
Thaddeus Young is now 32-years old and in his 14th season in the NBA, but has always been known as a legit low-post threat and aggressive rebounder. This is exactly the type of player the Heat could use off their bench, especially since they need more reliable play from their frontcourt.
This team needs some help in the frontcourt and at a low price, they can get a guy like Thaddeus Young who you know what you are going to get with. He can score in double-figures any day of the week and can give Miami the big-bodied forward in the low-post they need on both ends of the court next to Bam Adebayo.
The only question is whether or not they are willing to part with Goran Dragic. When healthy, he has been an impactful backcourt player for them off-the-bench, but with the emergence of young guards like Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn, the Heat could get away with cutting ties with him. He is a great veteran contributor, but so is Thaddeus Young and the Heat have more frontcourt problems than backcourt problems right now.
Not to mention, the Heat have Avery Bradley as a veteran guard when he returns from a calf injury. Dragic could be a great addition to the Bulls, as could the future first-round pick they would receive from Miami.

The Bulls are a very young team and they definitely have a shot to make the playoffs moving forward, but the play in their backcourt has been inconsistent at times this year. Getting a proven veteran guard like Dragic could give them the boost they need to finally make the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
Now, let’s take a closer look as to why this trade makes sense for both the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls.
