Why This Trade Would Benefit The Brooklyn Nets

In their first year back and healthy with a new regime, the Brooklyn Nets are making some noise in the conference. They added James Harden and are expected to compete with the Los Angeles Lakers for a championship. This is the series that everybody wants to see and the Nets could continue to make moves to accomplish their goal.

George Hill has experience playing in the postseason from his time with the Indiana Pacers. He would serve as a strong backup behind Kyrie Irving because of his experience. This is something that could help the Nets’ roster and make them deeper.

The Nets have three main options to take over games at any point between Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. This is something that most teams do not have. However, surrounding them with cohesive role players is a key element to a successful playoff run.

Mike Muscala would also give them another shooting threat and could help create different styles of lineup combinations. It will be interesting to see if the net continue to make moves as they continue to climb up the standings.

Kevin Durant is showing that he is still arguably the best scorer in the league. The Nets are going to be a force all season and as we approach the NBA trade deadline, we could see them make another move. The front office has shown that they are not afraid to pull the trigger.
