This Nets-Thunder trade features OKC taking chance on Spencer Dinwiddie

The Brooklyn Nets are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, which was to be expected. They added James Harden in an NBA blockbuster deal with the Houston Rockets. This completed their big three and solidify the notion that they are championship contenders.

At the NBA trade deadline, we can continue to see this team be aggressive. Spencer Dinwiddie is an intriguing trade piece to keep an eye on. Last season, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant missed time with injuries.

In their absence, Dinwiddie stepped up at the point guard position and showed that he can play the game at a high-level. With the team at full health, he has obviously taking a step back but could benefit if sent away in a trade.

Going from Brooklyn to a team like the Oklahoma City Thunder would be a big step backward in trying to win a championship. For individual success, Dinwiddie would benefit from being on a rebuilding team where he can act as the primary option on the offensive end.
