1. Kyle Lowry
Arguably the biggest name that could be traded prior to the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline is Toronto Raptors point guard, Kyle Lowry. While the Raptors have turned things around and stormed up the Eastern Conference standings, the way sources have described things certainly makes it sound like the longtime partnership is going to come to an end in the coming weeks.
This is Kyle Lowry’s ninth season as the Raptors point guard, but he is in the final year of his contract. He will turn 35 on deadline day and Toronto reportedly wants to reward him for everything he has done with the organization and trade him a contender and his preferred destination as long as they receive something of value in return. The Philadelphia 76ers would fit the bill for both.
The 76ers are one of the teams that have emerged as a landing spot for Kyle Lowry, a Philadelphia native who attended Villanova, along with the LA Clippers and Miami Heat.

All three teams would be great landing spots for Kyle Lowry given his skill set, but home is where the heart is and it sounds like Lowry would like to end up in Philadephia.
Adding Kyle Lowry to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid would put the 76ers near the same tier as the Brooklyn Nets in terms of talent throughout the roster. That would be quite an exciting Eastern Conference Finals matchup.
