Toronto Raptors Receive: F Aaron Gordon, C Mo Bamba, F Al-Faroq Aminu, ORL 2022 1st Round Pick
The Magic are in a weird place as a franchise because they have some talented young players to work with moving forward, but they have some older players on big contracts, leaving this organization with virtually no money to go out and bring in other talented players in free agency.
Injuries have played a big role in the Magic’s lack of success this year and while Nikola Vucevic is having one of the best seasons of his career, this team is going to miss the playoffs unless they make a big move at the trade deadline. With Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, Cole Anthony and Aaron Gordon all out with injuries right now, this Magic team is in trouble and could really use a veteran leader like Lowry.
With Lowry leading this team, the Magic could absolutely be a team to watch closely in the Eastern Conference as Lowry, Vucevic, Fournier, and Ross definitely make for an interesting team.
The Magic may not be a legit threat in the Eastern Conference by adding Lowry, but by getting a long-term commitment from him, they could have the foundation to build something great. They would have a great blend of youthful talent and veteran talent, giving this team the tools they need to be able to be a team nobody in the Eastern Conference wants to play.

For the Raptors, they two best things they can improve on when trading away Lowry is their frontcourt depth and their stash of draft picks. Those are the two things they get in this trade, which could help them now and down the line.
When healthy, Aaron Gordon is a really solid combo-forward and Mo Bamba is a very young center that has the potential to be an elite-level shot-blocker. Getting frontcourt depth would be extremely important to the Raptors this season and could give them the weapons they need to be a threat come playoff time.
