Why This Trade Would Benefit The Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz have seemed to take that next step in the Western Conference. They have been a postseason team but it finally turned into championship contenders. With players like Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, Utah is expected to be good for quite some time.
With that being said, the Western Conference is extremely deep. This is why Utah has been unable to take that step but are near the top this year. They are not in a position to land a superstar at the NBA trade deadline but they could benefit from having a player like Thaddeus Young.
While Young’s 11.8 points per game doesn’t jump off the page, Again, this is not an eye-popping deal but one that fills out the roster for Utah and points them in the right direction. He can play the small ball center role he’s thrived in with the Bulls but behind Rudy Gobert in Utah.
