Phoenix Suns
Phoenix Suns Receive: C JaVale McGee, CLE 2023 2nd Round Pick
Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: G Langston Galloway, F Abdel Nader, PHX 2022 2nd Round Pick
Overall, the Phoenix Suns not really need to make a move as they have their star-studded trio in Paul, Booker and Ayton, they have key role players in Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder and Dario Saric and they are in 4th place in the Western Conference.
This Suns team already made all the moves it needed to in the offseason, but for the right price, JaVale McGee could definitely be an impactful player for them to consider adding for frontcourt depth. Phoenix has a really strong all-around team, but the one area they could probably get better in is depth behind Ayton.
Frank Kaminsky has been reliable at times this year as a rebounder, but the Suns could really benefit from having a solid defensive big man like McGee. Not only is he averaging over a block per game this year, but he knows what it takes to win a championship, as he did so twice with the Warriors and last year with the Lakers.

If this Suns team feels like they need to add another defensive-minded player in their frontcourt, then McGee is probably the best high-value, low-salary player they could trade for. Langston Galloway is nothing more than a veteran presence on this team and while Abdel Nader gives the Suns depth, he is not going to be a player that will help them potentially win a championship.
McGee is definitely an impactful big man and if something was to happen to Ayton, he is definitely a player they could look to for production in attempts to win a championship. For a low cost, JaVale McGee could be a sneaky good trade target for the Phoenix Suns.
