New York Knicks
The New York Knicks are currently 15-17 and very much in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference this season. Not only has the All-Star play of Julius Randle helped this team, but the hiring of Tom Thibodeau may have been the best coaching hire of this past offseason.
Thibs has turned this young Knicks team into a hungry and aggressive defensive team that currently ranks 1st in opponent’s points per game (103.8 PPG). The Knicks are one of the best defensive teams in the league and as a result, adding PJ Tucker could make a lot of sense.
At the cost of one or two future second-round picks and a player like Kevin Knox, who does not hold much value to the Knicks, makes a ton of sense for New York and could be appealing to the Rockets as well.

Houston has expressed their interest in getting younger and acquiring draft picks, so giving up Tucker for just that could be exactly what they are looking for. With the Knicks, Tucker could play virtually any position they needed him to play and with Mitchell Robinson out now with a broken hand, he could fill in some minutes behind Nerlens Noel at center.
The Knicks are a great defensive team, PJ Tucker is a great defensive player, so this is pretty much a match made in heaven. Not to mention, Tucker is a great veteran leader and could make a big locker room impact on one of the younger, inexperienced teams in the league.
