Zach LaVine – Chicago Bulls
If the 76ers truly want to go “all-in” on winning a championship this year, then they should do everything they can to trade for Zach LaVine. The only catch though is that LaVine’s asking price is at an all-time high and Chicago may want a player like Ben Simmons in-exchange for him.
If this is the case, then the 76ers should walk away from trying to pursue Zach LaVine at the NBA trade deadline, but if they are able to keep Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris, then they need to trade away whoever else the Bulls would want in order to acquire the 25-year old guard. Not only is he an All-Star for the first time in his career, but Zach LaVine is continuing to improve his overall game and is one of the deadliest scorers in the league.
Since joining the Bulls ahead of the 2017-18 season, Zach LaVine is averaging 23.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and is shooting 45.5% from the floor, 37.9% from three-point range. He is the best player in an organization that has not eclipsed 27 wins in three seasons and is in the prime of his career, making him a prime trade target for a lot of championship contending teams.

It seems unlikely that the Bulls are going to trade Zach LaVine at the trade deadline this season, especially since they have a shot to make the playoffs, but that should not stop the 76ers from trying to pursue the first-time All-Star.
Trading for LaVine gives the 76ers the best starting rotation in the league and makes them the clear-cut favorites to win the 2021 NBA Finals, which is why they should be willing to offer numerous trade packages for the All-Star guard.
