Winner: Julius Randle
We briefly just mentioned Julius Randle and how he got lucky being named an All-Star over Domantas Sabonis, which is why he is the biggest winner of the All-Star game rosters being announced. Not only is this the first All-Star appearance for Randle, but he joins an elite list of Knicks players to be All-Stars.
While you can make an argument for Sabonis being named an All-Star over Randle, it is hard to say that Julius Randle did not earn this honor. He is averaging 23.3 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and is shooting 41.4% from three-point range, a massive improvement from shooting 27.7% from deep a season ago.
He currently leads the Knicks in scoring, rebounding, assists, three-point shooting percentage and player efficiency rating, which is why he is an All-Star this year. Not to mention, Randle has led the Knicks to a 15-17 record and has them on the verge of snapping a 7 season playoff drought.
All season long, no team has been able to slow down Julius Randle and he currently ranks 8th in the league in double-doubles for the season with 20 double-doubles. Randle has turned himself into a superstar in just his second season with the Knicks and looks to be the face of the New York franchise for many years to come.

Finally, something good is happening to the New York Knicks and because of Randle, they have a legit shot of making the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
